English 11-1 Day A, Block 3

The following six phrases/terms were added to the Sort Card deck bringing the total number to 81:

sermon, fire and brimstone, persuasive writing, logical appeal, emotional appeal, loaded language

We also completed the following activities in class today:

1) Proofreading Practice: Spelling

2) We read and collected examples of loaded language from an excerpt of "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" by Jonathan Edwards. A reflective worksheet was also completed in class.
