In-Class Today: 5/29

English 11-2 B/D Days, Block 1
English 11-3 B/D Days, Block 3

NOTE: Check which class you are in carefully, all English 11 classes are currently NOT doing the same thing!

The following activities took place in class today:
1) Writing Journal Prompt 20 (written on the back of The Crucible Key Facts Sheet) was a Quote of the Day activity using: “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”~Victor Frankl.

2) Reviewed Online Extra Credit for Fourth Quarter. Today's on-line extra credit is Spring 2000 TAAS (Texas) Reading Online Test. Remember to print your results in order to receive credit!

3) The Final Exam (20% of the student's OVERALL Grade!), a Reflective Essay, was begun via an outline.
Homework due next class:
1) Complete the Reflective Essay Outline for use in writing the essay next class.
Remember, it is YOUR responsibility to see the teacher PRIOR to Advisement and arrange for a pass when you need assistance with any home/classwork.
