In-Class Today: 11/13 & 11/14

English 11-2 Day D, Block 1
English 11-3 Day D, Block 3
English 11-1 Day A, Block 3

The following five phrases/terms were added to the Sort Card deck bringing the total number to 86:
stage directions, dialogue, monologue, soliloquy, aside
We also completed the following activities in class today:
1) Clique Worksheet in anticipation of "Mix It Up" day.

2) Review of The Crucible Background Notes from the FYI Handout.

3) Crucible "Anticipation/Reaction Guide" completed and collected.

4) Crucible "Themes" Worksheet, "Real-Life" section ONLY completed and collected.

5) Check of definitions for the following pre-reading vocabulary assigned for homework: crucible, frantic, predilection, paradox, disproportionate, subservient, iniquity, arbitrate

6) Began Reading The Crucible, Act I in-class.

Homework Due Next Class: None.
Remember, it is YOUR responsibility to see the teacher PRIOR to Advisement and arrange for a pass when you need assistance with any home/classwork.
