I. Active Reading Strategies: For “The House…”: T-Chart notes with House As Imagined & House As Is. For “Hairs” & "Boys and Girls”: identify 1 example of figurative language and strategy for each.

II. Vocabulary as assigned.

III. Summarize each vignette in complete sentences.

2. Expect to be quizzed on the assigned reading in class Monday.
